We are located in Blackheath in Sydney's beautiful Blue Mountains, just under 2 hours by car West of Sydney’s centre and 2.5 hours by train.
There is ample paid street parking available on the Great Western highway as well as some free parking on the side streets around the corner. The trip from Sydney by train is beautiful and we are located across the road from the train station.
We recommend hydrating before, during and after your session (be prepared to sweat).

Yes you do. It’s a requirement to shower before your session and rinse after leaving the sauna or steam room. Please see our etiquette page for our full bathing guide.
The bathing facilities are not suitable for pregnant individuals due to health & safety advice. Due to the temperature changes, we do not recommend pregnant individuals to use the bathhouse but we leave this up to your own discretion.
Our facilities are not appropriate for children under 8 years of age due to the nature of the building and the environment we are trying to create. The ages of 8 to 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Yes, we do advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Our bathhouse welcomes walk in customers however, we cannot guarantee a place as we are limited to 15 patrons at a time.
You can change or cancel bookings by accessing your MyAccount which allows you to see upcoming bookings, change personal details, change and cancel bookings.
Your vouchers have an expiry of 3 years. Please be sure to use them in the allocated time.
Yes and no, we recommend arriving a little before your session time and you can then take your time at the end to get dressed etc. Your 1.5 hour session starts from when you are ready to begin enjoying the space.
If it is your first visit please allow an extra 10 minutes to be shown around the Bathhouse before you begin.
We offer 5 pack visits and 10 pack visits, these are designed like a membership and for use with 1 persons account. So for locals and regulars this is the best value for money.
Please note; our bathhouse is located within a renovated 100 year old heritage listed building and the facilities are spread over two floors with access via a staircase.
Please be mindful prior to booking that due to the nature of our building this could be unsuitable for some people depending on the individuals mobility.
Our Sauna and Magnesium Pool are on the ground floor, Herbal Steam Room is located on the first floor. There are toilets and rest areas on both levels.
Included in your visit is a Full Size Bath Towel and small Sauna towels.
At a minimum you can enjoy Aqua Ignis by just bringing your bathers.
You may wish to bring rubber shoes or thongs.
We do not provide rubber slippers/thongs for environmental reasons (also some areas of our space are narrow and many slippers/thongs around could create a trip hazard for others), so please bring along a clean pair of rubber slippers if you want to.
You are welcome to hire one of our in house robes and/or additional towels - or bring your own robe/towels if you wish.
Unfortunately due to the heritage nature of our building we were not able to make it wheelchair accessible. Our space is long and narrow and heritage listed. Being such a unique and old building we were unable to make the facility more accessible, despite trying our best to do so. Sincere apologies to anyone whom this may inconvenience.
